PTFA

Great Wilbraham Parents, Teachers and Friends Association raise money to provide extra facilities for the children at the school. Our target at the moment is to replace the well used laptops for the children.
A big thank-you to all the donors, parents, fundraisers and helpers who made the events last year such a success. The funds raised in 2011 were used to help fund school trips, pay for a pantomime to come to the school and buy eleven netbooks to replace the laptops.
Events to run this year include the Parents' Quiz on 10th February, Easter Treasure Hunt around the village on 17th March, Live Music Night with Rubber Band on the 4th May, the School Fete on 30th June and a school disco in honour of the year six leavers on 20th July. We aim to raise money to buy the remaining netbooks from these events. The now renowned Autumn Ball was again a fantastic night, but we are thinking of having a change of event this year, more on this to come.
We always welcome new members and apart from raising money, we hope to get some fun out of organising the events too. So if you’d like to join us or are willing to help out an event, please contact Liz Gardener or come along to one of our meetings, dates are on the PTFA noticeboard at the school.

The band features school dad Mark Brooker and play classic rock covers from bands such as the Rolling Stones, U2, Free, The Who, Billy Idol, The Alarm, Beatles, AC/DC, T-Rex, Green Day, The Cult, Kaiser Chiefs ..
