Summer Fete Photo'sLast years Summer Fete Photo's

The countdown to the summer fete has begun!

As ever the PTFA has arranged a wide range of stalls and events including the raffle with a
fabulous Ipod Touch as first prize. There will be barbeque and bar, tuck, tea and cakes. Children’s beat the goalie and assault
course competitions. Craft, nearly new, and bric a brac stalls, and win fabulous prizes with the raffle, white elephant and class stalls.

We need your help to make this year a success!

We need booze to top up our barrow of booze raffle prize. There is no cake stall without cakes! So if you could bake a cake (or two) and bring them to school on Friday 17th June ready for Saturday that would be great. Cupcakes, fruitcakes, flapjacks, fairy cakes and sponge cakes, the more varied the better. Not a baker? There are lots of other ways to help out. Why not have a spring clean and donate your good quality bric a brac, toys and books, DVD’s etc. All we ask is that they are not broken, and puzzles have all their parts. A perfect activity for a rainy half term. Homemade/ Craft items, have you got a secret stash of homemade preserves, marmalades and
Jams that you would be willing to share with us? Are you a knitter, or do you sew or crochet? Anything homemade that you are willing to donate will be gratefully received. Or maybe you can find a bottle for the bottle stall? From Ketchup to Kahlua, as long as it is in a bottle, within it’s sell by date, and unused we can use it. If you have empty Jars why not fill them for Saturn Class’s stall and bring them in. We would like to have donations for stalls on Friday 10th June

Why not stick our poster in your car window or a notice board near you (please get permission first)

AND FINALLY FETE DAY SATURDAY 18th June from 10am

We always welcome willing workers on fete day. Whether it is help with setting up and taking down stalls, manning the tea tent for an hour, helping with the bar or stalls. The more people that help, the less work there is for everyone. If you can even spare us just half an hour we would appreciate it. Please make yourself known to Robi Bateman, Sarah Butler-Ford, Jo Gardner, Liz Gardner, Kim Quiggin, or Steve Cory.
