PTFA Events 2012

A big thank-you to all the parents, donors and helpers who made the PTFA events last year such a success. The funds raised in 2011 were used to help fund school trips, pay for a pantomime to come to the school and buy eleven netbooks to replace the well used laptops.

We’re still aiming to raise money to get the remaining netbooks. The next event to run is the Quiz and Chips on 10th February, cost is £9 a person which includes fish and chips (or an alternative meal) and a bar will be available for drinks and snacks. Team entry forms are now available from the school office, if you don’t have a full team, fill in a form and we’ll try to sort something out.

Other events later in the year will be an Easter Treasure Hunt around the village on 17th March, the School Fete on 30th June and a School Disco in honour of the Year Six leavers on 20th July.

We always welcome new members and apart from raising money, we hope to get some fun out of organising the events too. So if you’d like to join us or are willing to help out at an event, please contact Liz Gardener, liz@meft.co.uk or come along to one of our meetings, dates are on the PTFA noticeboard at the school.
